As you may have noticed by now, I love everything fall, especially pumpkins. I love them all---the orange ones, the green ones, the misshapen ones. Oh, I love the bumpy ones too. Every pumpkin is fabulous in its own way.
One our favorite autumn traditions, is a visit to our favorite pumpkin patch. A quick detour to get a pumpkin spice latte, and we were on our way. We walked into the pumpkin field, surrounded by pumpkins of every shape, size and color. It was wonderful.
Here are some of my favorite pumpkins from our visit.
I love the dark green pumpkins.
I would have brought them all home, but two wheelbarrows full seemed to be a good limit. The one on the right in the picture above, did come home with us.
Who doesn't love a picture to a pumpkin patch? These are adorable and I think I would have wanted to take them all home too!
ReplyDeleteI'm a little partial to the ugly wart covered ones on the top, with a face only a mother could love! chuckle!
yes, the wart covered pumpkin was sweet. i always want those pumpkins to find their home and fulfill their Halloween destiny :-)
DeleteWow...so many different types of pumpkins and great photos! I too love a trip to pumpkin patch each fall.
ReplyDeletethank you!
DeleteWow such great shots! How do you position yourself to take these? Just curious. I have a camera at home that I need to use so my boyfriend is giving me lessons. Fall is my favorite season to!
ReplyDeletethank you! Most of these were shot at ground level (yes, i really was on the ground in a pumpkin patch :-) )
DeleteI love the green pumpkins too! It's funny watching the ones that ripen all uneven.
ReplyDeleteJess, I love seeing the ones that are all uneven in color. The more unusual the better :-)
